The average CEO does NOT work harder than the average "unskilled" worker. In fact I'd argue that "unskilled" workers are among the hardest working employees in any industry. Why does our time and labor add more value to the shareholders bottom line than to our own?

It isn't all about how hard you work. Wages also depend on decision making, communication skills, financial acumen and leadership ability, to name a few key qualifications. However, I think we'd agree that the wage multiplier is way out of proportion.

Some people just dont have those inherent skills. Do they deserve to wallow in generational poverty because they aren't natural leaders? My point is that the time and labor of those of us "at the bottom" are the ones producing the wealth for the top. Without our time and labor the top has nothing.

That doesn't necessarily apply either as usually the rich are inheriting it or making a fortune off those at the bottom.
