Exactly! My husband has always owned a car but I rode the bus daily for years because we are two fully separate and self sufficient people who have shit to do. I didn't want to rely on him or make him wait on me.

Honestly I think tht whether she or her husband owned a car or not is irrelevant. She made a point that made history. This guy is way off and I just dont understand how he can stand so boldly on the wrong side of history.

My father took a bus and train to work every day. He had a car, but driving in peak hour traffic and finding parking in the city would have been too much.
