I've been thinking of Baghdad Bob. During our illegal invasion of Iraq - the 2003 one, he was Saddam Hussein's Minister of Information, and kept giving these almost cheerful updates contrary to the objective reality unfolding around him. Now the Trump admin is 100% Baghdad Bobs.
