i didn't start off doing this distance! I remember when I started running, I'd do maybe 1.5k or something. Just kept ramping it up from there.

Nobody starts off running marathons! We start small, suffer through our first 5k, then run the marathon a few years later. Come to think of it, this feels a lot like transitioning, too...
