only that times change and the two party system is no longer a catch all for the body politic. Needs have become more specific. Coalition government, creating consensus through smaller parties aligned with there distilled interests seems like the future...I hope we make it there.

Because those distilled interests feel they will lose agency and a seat at the table if they break with established parties that ignore them anyway...
