They may not be lying, just leaving something out which links the two events. In fact, they didnt need to mention being flagged down etc at all. They could simply have said that they were rear ended on the highway.

You mean you didn’t not believe a guy who claims he was assaulted by a grocery store worker when he was on camera clearly showing no assault??

He was at the scene when he was struck which suggests his car wasn’t moving, but stationary or was pulling out. The other driver was 19, so inexperienced, but it will be interesting to learn who was at fault. Also, more details needed on the Jane Doe DV victim’s story and how she “flagged down” Rudy

The accident happened on the other side of the carriageway to where the victim and police/fire already were. Likely they stopped suddenly and the other car ran into their rear.
