There is and it’s called Linux using wine for your windows apps and games. Surprisingly well supported now as well.

Generally, and with the correct video drivers installed it’s on a par with Windows speeds - and sometimes faster. Libreoffice means you don’t need to worry about Word,etc. I use Arch and macOS at home.

Yes, my experience has been that Linux, properly installed, is faster than Windows on the same hardware.

Mind you some formats in Word and PowerPoint gets wonky in LibreOffice which can be annoying

They supposedly fixed that with the recent 25.8 update, but using OnlyOffice instead sidesteps the problem entirely.
