On that last bit you are absolutely correct. The nuclear attacks on both Japanese city's were horrendous. You really don't need to defend that.

War was going on in the Pacific as many were being killed on both sides. That was the act US took. Even after the two bombs (3 days between the drops), imperialists wanted to continue, and continued until the Emperor surrendered. They even wanted the emperor assassinated for not continuing the war.

Yep, ultra nationalistic politics is as aggressive as it is lacking in subtlety. Makes for a lot of stupid decision making. We are seeing it in the US political scene right now.

That for sure I agree today. Don't expect positive from the Felon in charge in the Whitehouse. Only, perhaps other nations act more sane reacting to his insanity in motion.
