If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it.

The problem isn't that they can't afford alcohol, it's that they can't afford rent because their jobs don't pay them enough.

Pick up a second job. Move to a smaller home. Many options. Again laziness is a big contributor.

Are you saying anyone who doesn't work more than one job is "lazy"? Why do we live in the richest country in the world and most citizens can't make ends meet without working two jobs?

If you don’t have the skills to make a living on one then you can work two. Many people work 60 plus hours a week. People that own their own company might work 80 hours a week.

I worked my whole life. Sometimes two jobs. I retired early because I lived with in my means. I have watched others waste their money and cry about how hard it is to make a living. Many fables about a fool and his money so part.

Also they most likely want alcohol and cigarettes because they are looking for distractions from the hardships in their lives. Why else do you think they're buying drugs?

That’s their problem created by themselves. Why should working people have to pay more in taxes because the lazy don’t want to work.

If someone isn't working, it's not because they're lazy. It's because they can't get a job for a multitude of reasons.
