Why not just make this Medicare for all paid for by our progressive tax system. Would that not be the same thing?

There is no limit to what you have to pay out of pocket in our current Medicare system. You can cap it with supplemental insurance. But it’s not cheap

Sorry, I reread the thread. I’m with you now. BTW I was at your HLTH conference in 2019 as a patient advocate honored by Wego. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to getting back there.

Which is why Medicare should not be the model. Medicaid is a much better goal.
