I know it’s silly but there’s something so gratifying about cleaning a cutting board by leaving salt on it for 24 hours

I don’t have any wooden cutting boards anymore…think maybe I should rethink things a bit

I think it likely hurts the longevity of the wood, but if you’re ever worried if the cutting board is actually clean and clear of possible mold it’s a beautiful method

Just use some cutting board oil on it a couple times a year if you’re worried about longevity
