My husband cannot get an appointment with an endocrinologist. The office he was using was closed . We are in Suburban Philadelphia. We lost a major health care system including 4 hospitals and affiliated services in Delaware County. Emergency rooms are overwhelmed in remaining hospitals.
The Delaware County hospital system closed because it was bought by corporate raiders that bankrupted it. The citizens property taxes were raised to cover the debt they left. The raiders are abandoning the buildings leaving townships to clean up the mess.
Chester County lost two hospitals due to mismanagement by the owners. The one building near me is being stripped.
