How would a pardon keep her quiet? They would no longer have her under their thumb. Threats to make her life much worse are most likely.

She would have no reason to expose Trump after he has given her the greatest gift possible: freeing her from what is, essentially, a life sentence (she'll be 80 at the time of her release if Trump doesn't pardon her).

Your answer makes huge assumptions. Loyalty and gratitude aren't givens carved in stone. Free her and hope for the best, or tell her she could always be put in solitary confinement and get nothing but "loaf"to eat and not even books for company.
