You’re so right. And I’m surprised and really ticked at the Air Force for doing this. I can’t imagine they would do this on their own (but might be wrong). Thinking that they were directed to by drump. But yeah - a person of color or even LGBTQ - long forgotten.
Im a veteran in Maine. I agree its appalling. Most egregious aspect of all of this is EVERY elected republican took a similar oath.
