That's capitalism. Is rather have moderates and left leaning centrists , liberals and leftists who share that view, still voting with us most of the time for most causes. It sure would be nice if that other piece would fall into place tho, no doubt

It isn't just capitalism it is a level of belief in capitalism that rivals religion. I was engaging with an unpleasant person early in another thread who was convinced religion is the root of all ills, but capitalism as religion is what allows this kind of breathtaking enabling of psychopaths.

However, the reason why religion isnt the root of all human problems is illustrated here quite clearly. The so-called moderates (who are usually just cowardly pseudo-intellectuals who dont like discomfort) arent Evangelical wackos. They have literally been brainwashed to believe in capitalist myths.

Only a brainwashed person who approached an ideology as a form of religion in and of itself would say, oh no, lets not deprive the worlds richest men of their ability to be trillionaires because it wouldn't be very capitalist of them to say so.
