making her appear sympathetic is surely not my attention. my point is that she’s acting out her untreated problems on random people (like accusing random harmless people of assaulting her), causing damage.

She’s not fit to hold office and she’s not a good person. Get her out of office. Then if you want to try to treat her, have at it. But I doubt she’s worth trying to rehabilitate, and I know she should never have high power in any context.
