They are fed propaganda in a psychological way and follow like cult members. It’s an easy trick. Con men use it, snake oil salesmen used it, showmen use it. Dictators use it. With tv networks & social media in the mix to back the corruption and falsehoods up, it becomes widespread and dangerous.
