It's the USA. China and their population is too old to become a Superpower. The USA can repair the damage done and become attractive through its exceptionalism again.

Maybe. Or more generally: The next superpower might be a system whoever controls: •AI and surveillance •Energy and water •Data and global infrastructure Most certainly, not the country with the highest tariffs.

USA checks all those boxes. USA is still #1. That's why we can get away with it for a little bit... There is economic damage being done and there is a decline for sure, but there is no country that has the infrastructure or Technology Edge or Consumer Base that we do. Tariffs go to 0 after oldManXXX

The Tariffs are 100% unconstitutional and illegal. The Tariffs are being used as a point of leverage to extort other nations and get them to bow down to the power of the Oval Office or Bribe their way out of it. This is only being done to benefit one individual only and remains Unconstitutional.

This model of doing business has failed repeatedly throughout History. Napoleonic France tried it. The 1920s USA tried it and brought on the Great Depression. DO NOT rule out the fact that Autocrats deliberately destroy the nation they take over in hopes to own all the Key items within it. Coercion.
