This Thursday, April 30th 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon and the end of American involvement in Viet-Nam. The men and women who served in that era were not given the respect that they deserved. I am asking you to make sure that you take time to thank and honor our Viet Name Era Veterans who served our country proudly during a troubled time for our nation. I joined the Army in the Fall of 1980. All of my Drill Sergeants at the Infantry School were Viet Nam Vets and they raised me up right. They made sure that all of us recruits learned what it meant to be a Soldier and an Infantryman. I hope that I managed to pass down some of that spirit to the Soldiers that I trained years later. Please, please share here any events that you are aware of regarding the anniversary of the end of the Viet Nam War. Salute!
