Will the military actually be ordered to “take back” the Panama Canal by force? And if yes, who and what cans stop them?

I’m a civilian in the pentagon. I believe that order will come in late summer or fall. SouthCom will follow the orders but there will be huge protests here. The only wild cards in my prediction are whether there are wars in Greenland, Iran or China first
