I read the email - it seems like they don’t say anything about what these restrictions will actually be, either, is that correct?

They don't. And I spent several hours the other day getting nowhere with Meta support--talked to my marketing rep on phone, talked to support, got sent to higher support, and ended up being given a help article before they closed the chat. But the email does say it can be up to no pixel data sharing
So my understanding after reading an article is that this is about sharing data back into the ad network, not that you store will be unable to advertise. I read this information here: digiday.com/marketing/as... Can you tell me about the impact for you?
My store will be able to advertise, yes, but not effectively. If I can't use pixel data, my ad effectiveness will be diminished or not viable. My costs will be much higher than businesses that can use all their pixel data, for far worse results. End result is likely ads become not-viable.
Is it possible you can still sell queer books on the website but stop sharing the pixel data back to Facebook? I recognize that will make the ads less specific, but it looks like this will also affect a lot of other businesses (health, finance, politics).
I asked my ads manager and they said that running without pixel data wouldn't be cost-effective, unfortunately.
