What the UK Govt and EHRC intend to do to trans people is a violation of human rights. They have several hurdles to jump before they can implement it, including it appears a vote. Even if they succeed, will have to face actions in the ECtHR. Never comply, always resist. Get creative. Make allies.

No vote necessary; it will be brought in via a negative procedure. See the briefing by the trans solidarity alliance. Essentially, sent from the EHRC to Philipson, who can enact it without a parliamentary debate or vote. (Not that I think a debate and vote would work in our favour)

This is half the problem. Since Johnson got in with a huge majority, and now so has Starmer, there isn't any chance of the Opposition being able to outvote anything - not that the Tories would anyway. Meaning the Party in power just steamroller anything they want through. So much for "democracy."🙄

I’m not sure there will be a vote. All Labour’s anti-trans measures have to date been imposed without a vote in parliament.
