Elephants do Not belong in captivity or a confined zoo. Elephants need to roam miles and miles each day. They need ponds to swim in. They benefit greatly in sanctuary.

Sanctuaries are accredited zoos with less funding and typically less expertise. Elephus care requires a degree.

Elephants and other large animals Need more space than zoos provide. I believe that the zoo keepers care, but it's not enough space for most animals
