It's hard to believe this. I left the democrat party, but didn't change my views. I'm still liberal. I'm Independent now and don't vote straight party line, but I feel like I just don't align with how far left the party has gone. I think you're right though.
Cocoa I believe both parties have extremes and they always have. I'm in my 80's and I have seen the movement in both parties. I also believe the extremists are fewer than people believe. I went Independant years ago but about 20 years ago I couldn't find a single Republican I could support.
I feel the same way really. I'm harder on democrats because I am so disappointed with where the party landed recently. In your experience, have you seen such swings in the political balance over the years?
