You have the layers working against you here, since especially with a thin shaft, it’ll always be weakest on planes parallel to the print bed. If you can print a square or hexagonal shaft laying down and then insert that, it’ll likely be a lot stronger since the layers are going lengthwise.

Yea. I wanted a ball bearing to fit in the middle, but I'm removing it to make the shaft thicker with the screw-in design.

Hope it works out! Bumping up the infill on the shaft and maybe switching to gyroid could help too. Good luck!
