These areas aren't just guarded, they are HEAVILY guarded, with fast reaction teams in the immediate vicinity on any normal day, and others within a mere hour or two of short notice readiness. You can have an attack helicopter overhead in 10 minutes.
If any regular person attempted a perimeter breach like what happened on Jan 6, you'd have had dozens of well armed men surrounding you, opting to possibly shoot first if you showed the slightest sign of aggression.
The vast majority of J6ers were white. That is why they were not shot.
Sure, collectively that is part of it, but individually your ass is getting plugged if you had tried that on any other day, regardless of color.
