If there’s any place more Thunderdome than the part of this parking lot set aside for grocery pickup I’m not sure I am prepared to know of its existence

I don’t know how much of the awfulness of parking lots is a) my age and temperament or b) bad planning or c) the popularity of SUVs or d) smart phone tech or e) ???

In some cases I think it’s awful planning, design, and/or terrible striping - looking at you unblinking, Austin Film Society - but most of the time I am afraid it’s just human nature

the amount of horrific accidents on the roads around here has increased exponentially. i park as far away as I can manage in parking lots these days
