I watched the whole video and was moved, and had a great day, but pretending that animals are so wonderfully kind to each other, making the exception the rule is just stupid and childish. You have to see life as it is, and not as you want that it is, life isn't a cartoon.

As someone who had a blind horse I just love this so much ! Sadly my boy Chief left for the rainbow 🌈 bridge 2 years ago.

Turns out, there's no better friend than a horse's ass. That horse will live years longer because of this friendship.

I knew a husky who was his blind mother's seeing eye dog, as in a dog with a seeing eye dog who was her son. But it was just kind of a thing that happened, he wasn't trained, so sometimes he'd accidentally walk her into corners.

Now that makes my weekend better.

My family has trained & shown world champion horses for 53yrs. When my 1st horse was retired, he and our goat became best buds. We didn't lock their stall door and they would mosey arnd the farm at will all day. When it was feeding time, they would go

back to the barn. They never left ea others side until they died, 2wks apart. Horse was 36. Goat was about 13. #BestBuddies #WillieAndBilly

We have a number of blind horses at the rescue. Each has a close companion (not really a "seeing eye"). In the photo, Velvet on the right is grazing with her companion Billie Jo. They are rarely far apart, & Billie Jo often lets Velvet lead. Familiarity with their paddock is really important.
