I rode CTA everywhere in the 70's & 80's. Didn't own a car, parking was already hard to find and expensive downtown where I worked. I would rent a car out at O'Hare for the weekend for 30 or 40 bucks back then, and take the CTA out to pick it up. Spend the weekend in Wisconsin, take CTA back 😜
