I agree! The masses choose apathy, because they don't want to think about things that upset them or give up any of their comforts (even though these comforts don't really make them happy). It's utter insanity. I'm wired differently to most, and I can't really understand it myself.
but their comforts will end when the climate apocalypse makes growing food, shipping goods, hunting game, or drinking water impossible. i know we're saying the same thing. some compulsive part of my brain is trying to reexamine the worldview until i get it. i dont think i will.
