apparently we can now talk about skate. okay so, I've been playing this for the past two years intermittently. to be real, it's got everything going against it. it's online only. cosmetics are linked to mtx. corporate art style. and yet, i kinda love it? i'm as baffled by that as you are.

as someone who lists skate 3 as one of their all-time favourites, i'm not gonna lie to you and say this is the dream sequel to that game. it just isn't. but what it is, is something that i really appreciate. a chill, satisfying, arcadey skate sim. if loving it makes me a hypocrite, so be it ig.
