Why does the MTV logo and theme play before watching South Park on Paramount plus? The two are completely unrelated.

I mean, MTV is a Paramount property. It's a convoluted corporate structure, but they are not completely unrelated.

Mtv is owned by paramount I get that, paramount doesn't own South Park, it only has streaming rights currently. Its like having a Disney castle logo in front of everything on Hulu even when Disney is unrelated to the property outside of ownership of the host streaming service
