There are some libs on here who are just absolutely salivating over the idea that they might get to nominate an out and proud transphobe. They do this because they like the anti-trans policies.

I think they enjoy what they perceive as their place in the hierarchy of power among dems. They don't like uppity minorities telling them what they should or shouldn't do.

I’ve voted Dem consistently for 20 years. Only been excited to vote for 2 but I have HAPPILY voted for every Dem candidate run in my life. Never once considered not doing so. But if it’s Newsom….boy, I don’t know.

even "allies" secretly believe all of the misinformation propaganda about trans people. And you're right, they can't wait to be able to be openly transphobic. They've always refused to believe anything that doesn't fit with the myths they heard in middle school, and the right knows it
