Politicians don't have magic powers. To say both parties have their issues is like grouping apples with roller skates. Dems DO work to make all lives better. "Republicans" never have been that way. How many times does trickle-down econ have to not work before they stop making policies based on it?

We know that's what happens. They like us to think it's trickle down. Reward the rich because they'll pay it forward. I remember seeing a video in 1.0 of a meeting with CEOs who were asked if they will do what was supposedly intended. If I recall, no one raised their hand to say they would.
