As diaspora Jews, it's our job to remind our friends in Israel about the lessons learned in the 20th century. I'd go so far as to say it's a moral imperative for us to make our position known. I'm thankful many do. Nonetheless, I do fear an indiscriminate backlash against Jews.

Israel spent 80 years & billions of dollars to create a belief that they are face/conscience of the International Jewish community. If the International community does not push back hard on this propaganda, they will feel the consequences of Israel courting the most extreme Jews for decades.

Their abhorrent & now unforgivable actions causing indiscriminate backlash towards the diaspora outside Israel is by design, it reinforces their arguments that Israel must remain an apartheid state.

Exactly this. Jews have a moral obligation to honour the memory of their parents and grandparents by refusing to allow their children and grandchildren to revisit racist murder and genocide on others. The silence by so many on the genocide in Gaza is to their eternal shame.
