The best! Mine taught me to forage, cook, sew, etc. Miss her. My mom always had to work. Not her fault, those were just the cards she was dealt.

I did a search on YouTube of Alma WV, where she lived. I was shocked and thrilled to find a video of mom, grandma, great grandma, and even great great grandma, with a baby me walking in the yard. FF to 7:09. I was truly shocked to find this. So very long ago: youtu.be/rZc-7SHEA2Y
Oh, wow, how cool is that?! A treasure. Thanks for sharing.
I'm thankful to what ever relative posted it. I have no photos of this. no old pics. Dad had a photo of the Grams and Mom sitting there, he died 4 years ago, I have no idea who has those pics Maybe went out with the trash.😔
Maybe. I have way more pics of paternal side, and virtually none of my mother's. My dad's side had more money, so they could hire photographers; my mom's didn't. They lived on a tiny farm miles from nowhere. They probably went to church once a month. My dad's lived on a cattle ranch. Own church.
My parents divorced when I was 10. Mom left to do her thing so my brothers and I were raised by Dad who was always busy running his auto body biz. Got lots of pics of him, maybe 3 of mom, she wasn't in my life for many years. Dad passed 4 years ago. Moms still kickin'. Haven't spoken in years,Sad
I'm sorry. It's her loss, trust me.
