🇺🇸 In the USA, people "of color" have been either prisoners of war or chattel. Some on their own Turtle Island, others brought here for the purpose of slavery. Others escaping persecution--Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Africa, Armenia, Asia. They came because we told them they'd be SAFE here.
