I admit that being a graphic designer that likes minimalism, i do like some "bland" rebrands that sometimes pisses people haha, and is just not to be "against the flow" Wished i could do this on my daily job but i ironically work on a opposite branch of design; outdoor sports uniform design.

Mientras menos hagas pensar al cliente o espectador: mejor. Tambien estudié diseño gráfico y tambien tengo un estilo minimalista para trabajar y mucha gente lo confunde con flojera.

Bastante, uy y luego con el auge de la cosas hechas con IA, me llegan "logos" para usar que si uno lo diseñaba te lo mandan a cambiar 1000 veces. Lamentablemente como diseño uniformes para ciertos deportes ahí les gustan las cosas llenas de detalles y elementos jaja

I do too but only when it makes sense with the brand. Like something rustic going minimalist feels antithetical

If it's about the recent case with Cracker Barrel i could do understand why people dislike it (i'm not from the US), i think in that case it could still had a bit more of the old one, more like an update/ modernize the old one instead than go full "too simple" like a fashion brand.
