I get routinely accused of being a Bernie cultists, but I never even liked the guy. He was merely in the same "I guess I'll support him if I have to" bucket as Hillary to me. But they have a strawman leftist in their heads and they simply put the face of anyone they speak to onto it.

The biggest problem with a lot of countries' political systems right now, but ESPECIALLY, the USA, is that people are treating potential candidates and parties like sports teams and if someone has opinions that don't align 100% with the rest, even if valid, they're seen as weird anti-cheerleaders.
