There will be players out there. Dont want to end up wasting money on a stopgap at the same time. Rather have a guaranteed starter or an Aznou like player who can be developed as 2nd choice behind Jake for this year i think.

O'Brien can't keep playing. He's not a RB. And could be that we're stunting his CB growth. One of Godfreys issues is he never played CB we had him everywhere but.

Exactly. With Branthwaite out, he should be getting minutes at CB. It’s astounding that we’re two weeks from beginning of season without solving the RB issue.

The more he plays out of position the less likely that he will get the opportunity to play in his natural position which for elite, premier league football is absolute bollocks and totally on Everton.
