I'm disabled and know full well I can't do things like that. I would love to, but I'm also realistic. I wouldn't have made it to the first stop but you know what? Everyone looked like they were having a fuckin blast!! Seeing people having that much fun was better for me any medicine...
buh... we played from home!
But seriously how will they text their parents during the next MAGA-permitted/inspired mass school shooting?????
As a physically disabled person who’s consulted on accessibility for many events, they can fork right the way off. It’s actually impossible to design an event that is accessible to everyone. Encourage a variety of accessible events so more people can participate. And let people enjoy their fun!
It is frustrating to me when "the disabled" are just used as excuses not to have otherwise sensible policies. There is of course such a thing as exceptions to policies and we do not need to live in the world of Harrison Bergeron in which "able bodied" people must not do anything others can't.
I’m sorry WHAT?
you: come on by tomorrow for 10% off a large cheese pizza internet person: pretty fucked up to do this when so many people are allergic to cheese
