The premise behind arguments I have seen is that victims don't get due process. This was also the premise behind the stunt in the WH briefing room this past week. This premise is collective punishment for being an existential threat, the same premise behind genocides and other mass atrocities.

Unless they wake up from this evil shit, then I don’t even consider them fellow Americans. No, I see them as domestic enemies. I can forgive, but only if they wake up and stop being zombies and repent.
It’s hard not to take them seriously when they keep talking about wanting to hurt others, and wonder when it’ll be us.
