We need messengers who are convincing when they assert that a new America is possible. And sadly, those clearly corrupted by old school politics are less than convincing that they can or will lead a new and revitalized American politics.

This is going to sound bad, but the Dems have too many messengers and leaders that would be considered to be "weirdos," "losers" "nerds" "freaks" and/or "butt ugly" to the average American.
