I can’t believe our Dem leadership is not getting behind AOC and Jasmine Crockett. Even Jeffries is a dissapointment. We talk about unity. How about the Dem leaders get behind us and support who we want? Why it unity always on us to accept their weak endeavors?

We need a good name for it. Democratic Socialists would be probably the most accurate, however American culture will have anything labeled something similar to socialism put to the guillotine. Personally, the "Equality" party has a nice ring, as it represents progressive values.

The problem with "Socialism" is that many early proponents in this country were refugees from Germany and other countries with failed revolutions in 1848 and so the idea took hold that there was something “foreign” about Socialism. Never mind the views of such founding fathers as Thomas Paine.
