just saw a chamber of commerce ad for “maine’s middle coast and islands” which was really well done highlighting the fresh seafood etc but then the call to action was to order a brochure titled “maine’s mid coast”

Maybe they were just being honest. Keep expectations low and then people will leave thinking, "it was pretty good and I thought it was only going to be mid."

When I was a kid I loved getting mail (still do). So I’d check all the boxes in that Sunday comics ad for travel brochures. My dad would be like “why are you getting mail from the Utah Bureau of Tourism? You know we go to Ocean City!”

They all started just doing stuff with ropes and sails and I had to sit there like an idiot and try not to be in the way! Then I got to sail a little bit but there was a lot of making sure I didn’t get tangled up in a random lobster pot or hit any rocks or bottom out! Sailing is hard
