I use a spoon...to get the food out of my ice cream scooper.

Honest story here...I live in the mountains and the last 4 years we have had a major gopher infestation, I use my ice cream scooper to widen the hole for my trap (I don't want to kill them, but they are destabilizing entire hill sides).
