I was told by an elder that I could either continue the cycle of abuse I endured, or I could end it. I chose to end it. What is your story about abuse?

I did not write what I meant — what I meant to ask was if you agreed with what the elder said about having a choice to continue the cycle or to break it.

I wish you would have asked if we could talk thru dm’s before going ahead. I don’t know you. I don’t mind talking to you about this compelling subject. But I would prefer to know who you are first. A short bio at least.
