My VA doc predicted this would happen. I told her I'll go to Mexico to get the vaccine (a couple of hours of flight time). She said, "at the moment, you're good for another year."

Health Canada replied to my email and told me I was free to fly in and get their vaccines. I visit BC at least once a year.
