I have two potential answers for that. Either 1. He had seen his daughter watching news reports and videos of her always leaving in a limousine. Or 2. You’re overthinking a straight-to-streaming movie.

Not straight to streaming! I saw it first in a movie house!!

My mistake. Simultaneous picture house and streaming release in Europe, but it did get a few months in cinemas in the US. I don’t know if I’d be so vocal about admitting I’d paid money to see it, though. I’m glad I watched it on telly.
