Farage should never be interviewed without being forced to answer for failures of Brexit. That the man whose lies fuelled Brexit vote which has cost UK Billions & who said Liz Truss budget was “best Tory budget since 1986” could be trusted on *anything* is mind-boggling #bbclaura

Strange how little is broadcast about the Reform Party now that it controls some councils. It's as if the BBC wants to avoid the reality of Reform, eg an 18-year-old running the Council, which would be front and centre news if it had been Labour or even Lib-Dem or Tory. youtu.be/jVo8p_6xXkA?...

Farage isn't responsible for the failures of Brexit. Yes, he was the driving force, but the failures are the responsibility of the 🤡 that implemented it, and the millions who voted to let him do it. What happened was not Farage, it was voters. And, the media still gives him, 'talk bollocks time'.

Brexit was clearly doomed to be a failure. How much of a failure depended maybe on how hard 'the Brexit' was, and that can be discussed - but as the driving force, Farage is also largely responsible for its inevitable (and ongoing) failure.

Any government controlled by the Corporate, this is one thing that will never happen is the trickle-down economy. Leaving wealth in the few will only guarantee the trickle-up economy. All your potential tax cuts are the corporate tax breaks. Any corporate investment is charged to you on top of costs

Greens shouldn't recommend environmental policies if they involve trickle-up to corporate, yet consumers have no benefits apart from large bills via corporates passing on increases. How bout ending trickle-up and trickle-down begin with trickle-to-us

Anti-EU sentiment predates Farage. When Cameron agreed to a referendum, both my aged mother and I knew Brexit would win. It had been clear since the 80s. My mother (former Ultra Secret/Enigma) hated that ref. She fought against nationalism. And remainers like yourself fought a useless battle.

Well that's how politics work. You can lie and fail and raise to the top when you own enough of the media.

He knows all the tricks of the TV trade. Not surprising considering he's been doing TV since before any of us were even born, himself included

According to available information, Nigel Farage's earliest recorded TV appearance was on Panorama (TV Series) in 1953. It's important to note that he was born in 1964, so this would almost certainly be an archive footage appearance rather than a live one.

Trouble is, things are unlikely to change. We are drowning in a sea of misinformation/disinformation and journalists are, for the most part, unwilling or unable to hold politicians and others to account. In many cases, they aren't even near to spotting the lies. Appalling state of affairs.

The hope that Kuenssberg will ever ask serious questions of Farage is a forlorn one & Mason is no better. Whenever Farage is on they may as well just say “there now follows a political broadcast by the Reform party”.

That's how people dealt with criminals, heretics, misfits, rabble-rousers, etc in days long gone by. The image is absolutely not intended to give anyone any ideas, let alone follow up on them. it be best if farage dies from a very painful ailment, like an inflamed brain... wait, it doesn't have one.

Problem is, each time Farage is challenged on Brexit, he always says “this is not the way I would have done it” to deflect away from the fact that Brexit would be a failure whichever way it had been done. The populist’s playbook, always someone else’s fault.
